The McNair Voice

About

McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program

The program strives to increase the number of low-income, first-generation and under-represented college students who pursue doctoral study. Two-thirds of the scholars in the program comprise low-income, first generation students and one-third of the scholars can be from from under-represented populations. The program is envisaged to provide meaningful contacts between faculty and the McNair scholars while promoting familiarity and quality of the academic work produced by our scholars.

We aim to achieve our objectives by providing a challenging environment while nurturing the individual’s growth. Every effort is made to utilize existing resources as a means of both efficiently managing and promoting the program.
