The McNair Voice

We are excited about the new member of the McNair family.

Ms. Robinson greets us with the following intro:

It is with great pleasure that I introduce myself to you as the new Program Coordinator for the Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program at Georgia State University. I am looking forward to meeting each McNair Program participant, and I am very excited about the upcoming programs and events. Please stop by and visit with me at your leisure.

Mr. Curtis D. Byrd brings a wealth of experience and a clear vision to the service of the McNair family here at GSU. Mr. Byrd’s credentials are not only impeccable, they are also quite diverse. His success as director of a student organization hails from his experience running a state-wide program at UGA and active involvement in arts. We welcome him to GSU and are confident that his acumen will help realize the vision set forth in the memory of the late Dr. Ronald E. McNair.

In our first meeting of the semeswter on Jan 23, Mr. Byrd unveiled his projects for this semester. We had 42 current and prospective McNair Scholars in attendance. For those of who missed the sesions, we have attached a copy of Mr. Byrd’s presentation.
